I’m currently in my semester break and wanted to practice my animation skills using After Effects. I also wanted to get back to drawing. I started with a pretty simple (and quite rough) sketch on paper. Of course, this illustration had to involve a plant. So I did a series of animations that show people transporting plants. I traced the sketch in Illustrator and then added some color as well. Finally, I put the illustration into After Effects and animated it. Through this exercise, I improved not only my way of using After Effects but I dealt with human movement processes, whether they are simply walking, skating or are on a bike.
